About The Position

This position is for a Teaching Assistant for the Quantitative Methods in Psychology I course (PSY2106, Section B01) during the Fall 2026 semester. The role involves supporting the instructor in various aspects of the course, including training, preparation, student contact, grading, and proctoring exams. The assistant will also be responsible for weekly laboratories or tutorials, which will be offered in person. The course is expected to have an enrolment of 60 students.

Requirements

  • Honours Baccalaureate in Psychology or its equivalent.
  • Current enrolment in a graduate program in Psychology.
  • Availability during the scheduled lab time (Tuesdays from 8:30 AM to 10:00 PM).

Responsibilities

  • Training, preparation, contact, marking, and grading of students.
  • Proctoring all exams.
  • Conducting weekly laboratories or tutorials.
