About The Position

This position is for a Teaching Assistant for the Business Optimization Analytics course (ADM4363) during the Fall 2026 semester. The role involves giving weekly computer labs, holding office hours, and proctoring exams. The academic year runs from September 1 to August 31. Undergraduate students will be paid at a lower rate, while graduate students will receive a higher rate. These rates do not include vacation or statutory pay and are subject to change upon ratification of a new collective agreement.

Requirements

• Minimum C.G.P.A. of 8.0
• Minimum grade of A- in ADM 4363 or its equivalent
• Minimum grade of A- in ADM2302 and 2303 or their equivalents or previous successful TA experience in the course
• Strong background in optimization
• Demonstrated knowledge of GAMS or OPL optimization software

Nice To Haves

• Experience as TA of the course in previous terms
• Experience with online course delivery
• Experience with online videoconferencing environment (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom)
