About The Position
This requisition is for one or two Teaching Assistant positions in the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education for the Motor Control course (EDKP 447). Each position is for a total of 100 hours for the term, with a minimum of 50 hours each. Teaching Assistants are graduate students employed to assist the Course Supervisor in a classroom environment. These positions are unionized contractual appointments governed by the Collective Agreement between McGill University and the Association of Graduate Students Employed at McGill (AGSEM). Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Kinesiology, Physiology or other related area with some background in motor control and motor learning
- Ability to read and speak French would be an asset
- Must be authorized to work in Canada
- Must be willing to work in the province of Quebec
- Ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing
Responsibilities
- Assist with MyCourses platform
- Assist in developing/administering assessments
- Assist with group projects
- Tutor sessions/lead sub-group discussions
- Hold office hours as needed
- Mark assignments, tests, exams and group projects & presentations
Benefits
