This position is for a Teaching Assistant for the course DVM3560 Gestion des projets internationaux (International Project Management) during the Fall 2026 semester. The course focuses on projects as a vector for international development, examining results-based management in the context of international development projects, project lifecycle, logical framework, monitoring methods, project breakdown structure, critical path, network diagrams, and Gantt charts for project planning and control. This course is reserved for students enrolled in specialized programs in international development and globalization, international economics and development, and the integrated program in civil law and international development and globalization. The course is delivered in a lecture format and requires students to have completed 54 university credits, including DVM 2505 and DVM 2506. The course is scheduled for Mondays from 14:30 to 17:20 and will be offered in person on the Main Campus. The work involves various tasks such as facilitating discussion groups, grading assignments and exams, consulting with students, and proctoring exams. The School expects all assistants to be physically present on campus to complete their tasks. The teaching mode may change due to health or other reasons. Some professors expect their assistants to attend classes, so it is important to check the schedule of the courses you are applying for to avoid timetable conflicts. This course is part of the Experiential Learning (RAEA) program, and interest or experience in experiential learning is required. Training sessions on experiential learning may be required at the end of August or December. All University of Ottawa employees are required to complete mandatory legislated training. The hiring process will be governed by the CUPE 2626 collective agreement.
