This posting is for a Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator/Lab Monitor (CUPE) position for the course DVM1500 A00, "Le Canada face aux enjeux du développement international et de la mondialisation" (Canada facing the challenges of international development and globalization), a 3-credit course. The course examines the impact of globalization on Canadian society and Canada's positioning as an actor in international development and globalization, looking at the roles of government agencies, the private sector, and civil society organizations. The course is offered in person during the Fall 2026 semester, with class times on Mondays from 8:30-9:50 AM and Thursdays from 10:00-11:20 AM. The work is expected to start on September 01, 2026, and end on December 31, 2026, with a total of 117 work hours. The hourly rate is $31.89 for undergraduate students and $50.25 for graduate students (2024-2025 rates, subject to collective agreement ratification). This course is part of an in-depth experiential learning program (RAEA), and interest or experience in experiential learning is required. Training on experiential learning may be required. Assistants are expected to be physically present on campus, and the teaching mode may change. Assistants should check course schedules to avoid conflicts.
