About The Position

This is a specific course posting for a Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator/Lab Monitor role within the Faculty of Health Sciences, School of Nutrition Sciences. The position is for the Nutritional Biochemistry course (NUT2333, Section A01 DGD) during the Fall 2026 semester. The role involves preparing and facilitating weekly group tutoring sessions to reinforce course material, answer student questions, and support student learning. The work is to be performed in person at the Lees Campus, with a mandatory availability on Wednesdays from 1:00 to 2:30 pm. The hiring process will follow the CUPE 2626 collective agreement. Requirements

  • Completed Honours Bachelor in Food and Nutrition Sciences or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good knowledge of the subject of the course (Nutritional Biochemistry).
  • Excellent knowledge of oral and written English.
  • Must be available Wednesdays 1:00 to 2:30 pm.
  • Must complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.

Nice To Haves

  • Education related to nutritional biochemistry is an asset.
  • If the degree is in an equivalent field, the candidate must clearly explain in their résumé how their academic background connects to Food and Nutrition Sciences.
