About The Position
This position is for a Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator/Lab Monitor (CUPE) for the course Biochimie nutritionnelle (NUT2733, Section A01 - DGD). The role involves preparing exercises and tutoring sessions in collaboration with the course professor, and leading weekly group tutoring sessions to reinforce understanding, answer student questions, and support academic success. The work will be delivered in person on the Lees Campus, with a mandatory availability on Tuesdays from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. The total work hours for this position are 24.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of the course subject matter.
- Excellent command of spoken and written French.
- If the degree is in an equivalent field, the candidate must clearly explain in their CV how their academic background relates to Food Science or Nutrition.
- Must be available on Tuesdays from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM.
Nice To Haves
- Training in nutritional biochemistry is an asset.
