About The Position

This posting is for a new position as a Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator/Lab Monitor (CUPE) for the Introduction to Nutrition course (NUT1704, Section A) during the 2026 Fall Semester. The role involves assisting with teaching, including proctoring and grading assignments, quizzes, mid-term exams, and the final exam. The Teaching Assistant will also contribute to updating and enriching course content with relevant educational resources and innovative technological tools, and support students by answering their questions and facilitating their understanding of the course material. The position is hybrid, involving both virtual and in-person work on the Lees Campus, with a mandatory availability on Wednesdays from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. The total work hours for this position are 75.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition Sciences or a related field.
  • Good knowledge of the course subject.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Excellent command of French.
  • If the degree is in an equivalent field, the candidate must specify in their CV how their academic training is related to Food and Nutrition Sciences.
  • Must be available on Wednesdays from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

Responsibilities

  • Contribution to the updating and enrichment of course content by integrating relevant educational resources and innovative technological tools.
