About The Position

This is a specific course posting for a Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator/Lab Monitor role within the Faculty of Health Sciences, School of Nutrition Sciences. The position involves assisting with the teaching of the course 'Sciences des aliments I' (NUT1504 Section A) during the 2026 Fall Semester. The role includes responsibilities such as proctoring, grading assignments, projects, mid-term exams, and the final exam. The assistant will also contribute to updating and enriching course content with relevant educational resources and innovative technological tools, and support students by answering their questions and facilitating their understanding of the course material. The work is to be performed in person on the Lees Campus.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or a related field.
  • Good knowledge of the course subject matter.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Excellent command of French.
  • If the degree is in a related field, the candidate must clearly explain in their CV how their academic background is related to food science or nutrition.
  • Must be available on Tuesdays from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM.
  • Must complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
