About The Position
This position is for a Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator/Lab Monitor (CUPE) for the Introduction to Nutrition course (NUT1304, Section A) during the 2026 Spring/Summer Semester. The role involves assisting the professor in updating and enhancing course content, migrating information and exams online, supervising and administering online quizzes, mid-term, and final exams, and responding to student inquiries. The course delivery method is virtual hybrid (asynchronous & synchronous), with a mandatory availability on Mondays from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The total work hours are 75.
Requirements
- Completed Honours Bachelor in Food and Nutrition Sciences or related field.
- Good knowledge of the course subject.
- Good analytical skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- If the degree is in an equivalent field, the candidate must clearly explain in their résumé how their academic background connects to Food and Nutrition Sciences.
- Must be available Mondays 2:30 to 5:30 pm.
