About The Position

This posting is for a Teaching Assistant (TA) position for the SYS5140 course, Section A, during the 2026 Fall Semester in the Faculty of Engineering, School of Engineering Design and Teaching Innovation_ST. The TA will be responsible for assisting students, grading assignments, and proctoring exams. The work is governed by the CUPE 2626 collective agreement. Requirements

• Must have taken the course or have the equivalent knowledge of the course.
• Preference will be given to students who complete the course (or equivalent) with a final grade of A- or higher.
• Must successfully complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.

Responsibilities

• Contact with Students: 14 hours
• Grading: 15 hours
• Proctoring: 3 hours
• Proctoring mid-term and final exam (if necessary)
