About The Position

This posting is for a Teaching Assistant (TA) position for the SYS5130 course, Systems Optimization and Management, Section A, during the 2026 Fall Semester. The position is within the School of Engineering Design and Teaching Innovation at the Faculty of Engineering. The TA will be responsible for various tasks including contact with students, grading, and proctoring. The hiring process will follow the CUPE 2626 collective agreement. Requirements

• Must have taken the course or have equivalent knowledge of the course.
• Preference will be given to students who completed the course (or equivalent) with a final grade of A- or higher.
• All University of Ottawa employees are required under provincial law to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.

Responsibilities
