About The Position

This posting is for a Teaching Assistant (TA) position for the MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING course (EMP5241, Section A) during the Fall 2026 semester. The position is for a new role within the School of Engineering Design and Teaching Innovation_ST in the Faculty of Engineering. The TA will be responsible for contact with students, grading, and proctoring exams. The total work hours for this position are 32.5.

Requirements

• Have taken the course in the past and/or demonstrate at least a year of relevant work experience (co-op, internship, past employment).
• Students who have held a TA position in the past and meet the above condition will be given priority.
• Successfully complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.

Responsibilities

• Contact with students: 14 hours
• Grading: 15 hours
• Proctoring: 3 hours
• Proctoring mid-term and final exam (if necessary)
