About The Position

Clark Schaefer Hackett is seeking a Tax Manager to advise clients, lead complex tax engagements, mentor tax professionals, and contribute to the growth of the firm. The role extends beyond tax compliance, helping business owners and organizational leaders navigate complex challenges, identify opportunities, and make informed decisions. Tax Managers serve as trusted client advisors and relationship managers, providing practical business advice and supporting clients’ success. The Tax Manager leads engagements from planning through delivery, reviews tax returns, research, and consulting projects, and helps clients develop proactive tax strategies. The role also involves managing multiple engagements, budgets, and timelines; developing team members; and identifying opportunities to strengthen client relationships and deliver additional value. Requirements

CPA, EA, CA, or similar professional designation.
Public accounting tax experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
Strong technical tax, research, and planning expertise.
Experience managing client relationships and complex engagements.
Passion for developing others and delivering exceptional client service.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities
