About The Position

Caduceus Cellars is a small, family-owned winery in Arizona. Tasting Room Servers work at the Caduceus Cellars Tasting Room in Jerome, providing exceptional customer service and sharing the story of the wines—from vineyard and winery through aging and bottling to their arrival at the Tasting Room. Servers pour wine tastes and serve items from a small-plate menu that complements the wine while engaging with guests. Success in the role depends on eagerness to learn, listening and interacting with people, and keeping the flow of the Tasting Room in perspective. The position offers somewhat flexible scheduling, with 20–35 hours per week available. Compensation is $13.00 plus tips.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of experience in the food and beverage industry is preferred.
Yavapai County Food Worker Certificate (required for some positions).
Arizona Department of Liquor basic training certificate (required for some positions).

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to Tasting Room guests.
Tell guests the story and journey of the wines.
Pour wine tastes and serve items from the small-plate menu.
Listen to and interact with guests while maintaining awareness of the flow of the Tasting Room.
Support teammates and collaborate by offering and receiving creative ideas and constructive feedback.
