About The Position

Oak and Stone Tap Wall Guides provide genuine hospitality and help guests have a positive draft craft beer experience. The role involves engaging with guests, explaining and supporting use of the self-pour system, and helping guests select beer. This is a sales-focused position compensated with an hourly pay rate and a sales-based incentive. The ideal candidate is outgoing, engaging, motivated to assist guests, passionate about craft beer, skilled in hospitality, and able to multitask while maintaining a smile under pressure.

Responsibilities

Enthusiastically greet guests as they enter or approach the tap wall.
Visit with guests and assist with starting tap wall tabs immediately upon arrival when guests are on a wait.
Visit with guests and assist with starting tap wall tabs immediately after they are seated at a table.
Assist guests with proper use of the self-pour system.
Assist guests in selecting a beer.
Assist servers and bartenders in explaining the tap wall and its benefits, and in starting tap wall tabs for guests.
Change kegs and update electronic systems that show beer selections.
Clean and care for the tap wall, glassware, and beer cooler.
Fill growlers for to-go beer sales.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
