About The Position

We are seeking a driven and detail‑oriented Talent Acquisition Business Partner to join our Clean Mobility Division in Auburn Hills, MI. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience of US talent acquisition activities. You will play a critical role in shaping sourcing strategies and managing the end-to-end recruitment process—from identifying and engaging top talent to coordinating interviews and partnering with candidates and hiring managers. You will ensure a seamless and efficient hiring experience at every stage, while maintaining alignment with Forvia’s policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Willingness to travel up to 30% to Midwestern plant locations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably within the manufacturing and/or automotive industry, with a demonstrated ability to source passive candidates
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations, particularly as they relate to interviewing and hiring practices
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), with preference for SAP SuccessFactors
  • Strong research and sourcing capabilities, including proficiency in Boolean search techniques and tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work effectively both independently and within a matrixed, collaborative environment
  • Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills with a proven ability to prioritize and follow through on multiple requisitions
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Strong data entry skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the lifecycle recruitment process for both plant and central positions.
  • Source and identify high potential candidates leveraging your network, various job boards, and social media channels.
  • Conduct initial candidate interview screens to evaluate skills and position fit and provide a short list of top talent for the hiring teams to interview.
  • Coordinate and assist management in all staffing and recruiting activities, search firms, university relations, and advertising.
  • Update the Talent Acquisition Tracker daily as candidates enter and exit the recruitment process.
  • Manage the interview scheduling process and candidate management for internal and external candidates.
  • Propose continuous improvement ideas to support Talent Acquisition KPIs.
  • Capitalize on knowledge and share best practices / lessons learned across organization and within the site.
  • Participate in additional Talent Acquisition and general Human Resources activities and projects as requested.
