About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Tactical Security Professional for a retail assignment in Antioch, California. The role involves observing and surveying the assigned location, identifying risks and suspicious activity, patrolling sensitive areas, responding rapidly to threats, alarms, and critical incidents, and protecting people and property. The officer may detain and search, enforce customer procedures and standards, document incidents, prepare detailed reports, and collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents. Work may take place indoors and outdoors in variable environments and requires sustained standing, walking, and movement throughout the shift. The schedule is full time, Thursday through Monday, from 3:45 p.m. to 12:15 a.m. The position pays $33 per hour, depending on site pay. Requirements

At least five years of security experience.
At least 21 years of age.
State security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32-hour BSIS security training; additional training may be obtained during the hiring process.
Baton permit.
OC spray permit.
Handcuff permit.
Documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
Authorization to work in the United States.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
Include an up-to-date security resume.

Nice To Haves

First aid certification is an asset.
Security, military, or law enforcement experience is advantageous.
Keen observation skills and the ability to read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly.
