About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Tactical Security Guard for a retail assignment in San Francisco, California. The role involves patrolling an assigned location, observing and surveying activity, identifying risks and suspicious behavior, responding rapidly to incidents, and helping protect people and property. The position may require working indoors and outdoors in variable environments and moving around throughout the shift. Guards may enforce customer procedures and standards, detain and search individuals, respond to alarms, conduct on-site checks, document incidents and actions taken, and collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.

The schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The listed wage is $35 per hour, depending on site pay. GardaWorld offers a benefits package, career growth opportunities, and a uniform at no cost. DailyPay is available to employees.

Requirements

• At least five years of security experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Hold a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and have completed additional 32-hour BSIS security training; additional training may be obtained during the hiring process.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Have a baton permit.
• Have an OC spray permit.
• Have a handcuff permit.
• Include an up-to-date security resume with the application.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly.

Nice To Haves

• First aid certification.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience.

Responsibilities
