About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Tactical Security Professional for a retail assignment in Antioch, California. The role requires at least five years of security experience, a minimum age of 21, and baton, OC spray, and handcuff permits. The position is full-time, Thursday through Monday, from 3:45 p.m. to 12:15 a.m., with a listed pay rate of $33 per hour depending on site pay.

The professional observes and patrols the assigned location, assesses risks, responds rapidly to critical incidents, and helps protect people and property. Work may be indoors or outdoors in variable environments and requires standing and walking for extended periods. The role includes documenting activity and incidents, enforcing customer procedures and standards, responding to alarms, conducting on-site checks, detaining and searching when required, and collaborating with law enforcement during serious incidents.

Requirements

• At least five years of security experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a baton permit.
• Must have an OC spray permit.
• Must have a handcuff permit.
• State security license (BSIS Guard Card).
• Additional 32-hour BSIS security training; additional training may be obtained during the hiring process.
• Documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly.
• Ability to read and write detailed reports.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in variable environments.
• Current security resume.

Responsibilities
