About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring an armed Tactical Security Officer in West Jordan, Utah. The role involves moving throughout the shift and patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, and detention centers. Officers are expected to observe their surroundings, anticipate risks, and respond appropriately to protect people and property.

The set schedule is Thursday through Sunday, 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., for 32 hours per week. The hourly wage is $20.50. A uniform is provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended. Requirements

• At least 1 year of armed experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Must provide an approved personal weapon and Level 3 holster.
• Must pass an extensive screening process.
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• State license, if required.

Nice To Haves

• First aid certification is an asset.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to identify suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check that alarms and cameras are functioning properly.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
