About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Tactical Security Guard for a retail assignment in San Francisco, California. The role involves observing and surveying the assigned area, patrolling sensitive locations, identifying suspicious activity, responding rapidly to threats and incidents, and protecting people and property. The guard may work indoors and outdoors in variable environments and must be able to move around and patrol throughout the shift. Duties also include detaining and searching, documenting incidents and actions taken, responding to alarms, conducting on-site checks, and collaborating with law enforcement during serious incidents. The schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The advertised hourly wage is $35, depending on site pay. Uniforms are provided at no cost. Requirements

• At least five years of security experience.
• At least 21 years of age.
• A state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32-hour BSIS security training; additional training may be obtained during the hiring process.
• Baton permit.
• OC spray permit.
• Handcuff permit.
• Documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to read and write detailed reports.
• Include an up-to-date security resume.

Nice To Haves

• First aid certification.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience.

Responsibilities
