About The Position

A successful candidate supports Metrolina teams by maintaining and repairing tables for the Labor team. The position primarily involves repairing broken aluminum tables in the greenhouse and preparing broken tables for repair. The job is primarily outdoors, though work between locations and in an indoor office environment for administrative duties may be required. The role supervises but does not directly manage a team.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of common hand tools.
• Ability to read and use measurements.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and understanding English.
• Ability to work in outdoor elements, including dust and allergens.
• Ability to operate machinery necessary within the department and across the facility.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as business needs arise and during peak seasons.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds unaided and regularly lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to stand, sit, squat, kneel, bend, reach, and twist regularly for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

• Welding experience or knowledge.
• Forklift experience.
