Warehouse Associate (1st shift) - Entry level pay starting at $18.50/hr

About The Position

The Warehouse Associate stocks materials in the warehouse and throughout the facility. The role handles receiving, put-away, picking, cycle counts, and delivering materials to manufacturing and other departments. It also involves maintaining orderly storage and 5S compliance, recording inventory movements, inspecting picking equipment, and following safety procedures.

Requirements

Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
Ability to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and reach.
Ability to work extended hours.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED.
Some warehouse or inventory experience.
Power equipment experience, preferably with an OSHA-approved license.
Experience with warehouse management systems.
Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Skill in ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

Stock materials in the warehouse and throughout the facility.
Receive, put away, and pick parts.
Perform cycle counts in the warehouse.
Locate and deliver materials to manufacturing according to the Standard Operating Procedure.
Move materials from the warehouse, dock, or trailers to designated locations as required.
Deliver material to using departments and warehousing departments.
Restock parts as needed.
Move products safely and deliver them without damage.
Store items in an orderly and accessible manner and maintain 5S compliance in the designated area.
Perform appropriate transactions at the time of all inventory movements.
Perform and document daily inspections of picking equipment.
Observe and follow safety procedures, including standard PPE use and fall protection where necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
