Table Games Supervisor
About The Position
The Table Games Supervisor oversees table game activity to protect the integrity of games and ensure Dealers follow gaming regulations, house rules, and service standards. The role evaluates players and Dealers, monitors play for rule violations or suspected cheating, checks cards and gaming equipment, and verifies payout accuracy. It also requires knowledge of table games offered in Black Hawk, applicable procedures and regulations, bankroll management, and player rating. The Supervisor coaches and disciplines Team Members as needed and provides excellent service to internal and external customers. Duties and responsibilities may change at any time, with or without notice.
Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of blackjack and carnival games in a casino environment.
- Working knowledge of roulette, baccarat, and craps.
- Thorough knowledge of table games offered in Black Hawk, including procedures, payouts, cheque handling, and game protection.
- Thorough knowledge of Colorado Division of Gaming regulations and Internal Control Minimum Procedures.
- Ability to demonstrate effective bankroll management.
- Ability to rate players’ table game play.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate players and Dealers, observe play, and identify rule violations or suspected cheating.
- Use hand signals, telephone, or voice to communicate information about suspected violators to supervising personnel.
- Examine cards and gaming equipment for damage or substitution.
- Hold Dealers accountable for violations of gaming and house rules or policies.
- Calculate the accuracy of payouts.
- Apply knowledge of table games offered in Black Hawk, including procedures, payouts, cheque handling, and game protection.
- Follow Colorado Division of Gaming regulations and Internal Control Minimum Procedures.
- Demonstrate effective bankroll management and rate players’ table game play.
- Coach and discipline Team Members to uphold service standards and proper demeanor.
- Provide excellent external and internal customer service.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
