Requirements

Proficiency in the development of application integration solutions and API Lifecycle management.
Proficiency in application administration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Strong understanding of SQL, database management, and reporting tools.
Quick learner with ability to understand complex system interdependencies.
Familiarity with support case/ticket management systems.
Working knowledge of change management and disaster recovery best practices.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work individually or collaboratively with diverse teams.
Fine attention to detail, time-management, and analytical skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with job automation and scheduling technologies preferred.
Background in the financial services industry preferred.
IT-related certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Analyze business requirements to design and deliver secure, scalable, and reusable API and application integration solutions.
Develop and maintain RESTful and/or SOAP APIs to facilitate data exchange between internal systems and third-party services.
Manage full application and API lifecycle: design, implementation, testing, documentation, monitoring, and versioning.
Collaborate with other teams, and analysts to ensure seamless integration within application ecosystems.
Create and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and user guides.
Ensure compliance with security policies, data privacy standards (e.g., OAuth 2.0, JWT, HIPAA, GDPR), and governance models.
Use automation technologies to build and monitor scheduled jobs to improve business workflows and increase productivity.
Utilize database tools such as PL/SQL, SSIS, and SSRS to create data extracts and build custom reports.
Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Translate business needs into technical specifications for application enhancements.
Maintain accurate technical documentation for all supported systems.
Work closely with the Information Security team to implement protective measures for applications.
Identify and manage risks within the department.
Support application upgrades, migrations, and deployments related to integrated systems.
Provide Tier 2 support to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to applications.
Monitor application performance, identify issues, and implement improvements.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
Lead or participate in application-related projects, including upgrades, migrations, and integrations.
Work with IT Project Manager to define project scopes, create project plans, and manage timelines.
Coordinate with other IT analysts and business professionals.
Participate in routine disaster recovery exercises to run applications from a secondary data center location and maintain associated documentation.
