About The Position
Supports the hospital by operating the switchboard. Answers, screens, and transfers incoming and outgoing calls. Monitors alarms and code situations and activates notification systems when directed.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Six months of experience as an operator or in customer service.
Responsibilities
- Answer calls efficiently and use digital pages as needed.
- Access patient information and use scripting for all interactions.
- Monitor alarms and code situations and activate notification systems when directed.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.
- Work rotating shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekend rotation.
