About The Position
The Switchboard Operator receives and relays internal and external calls and provides general information according to protocol. This role also maintains desk directories, on-call lists, reference guides, and other associated reference materials. The operator will use a beeper and paging system to contact personnel and code teams, and communicate codes, alerts, drills, and other announcements according to established policies and protocols, including disaster management plans.
Requirements
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
Responsibilities
