About The Position
Under the general direction of the Supervisor of Communications, the Switchboard Operator performs switchboard and paging duties. The role requires rapidly and accurately operating a telephone switchboard, operating an overhead paging system, placing calls at requested times, using a computer terminal, following proper overhead and computerized paging techniques, and following on-call procedures. The operator also performs other related job duties as requested.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- One year of prior experience in an office environment requiring customer interaction.

- One year of prior work experience as a Switchboard Operator.
Responsibilities

- Call requested numbers at the requested time.
