About The Position
Emler Swim and Gymnastic Schools is hiring a part-time Swim Instructor in Charlotte, North Carolina. The role teaches children from 6 months to 12 years old, helping them develop swimming and water-safety skills in a safe, fun, and encouraging environment. Instructors train with an experienced mentor, teach weekly lessons, celebrate student milestones, and build positive relationships with students and parents. This is an active role spent on your feet and in the pool, with set shifts that include evenings and weekends. Paid hands-on training is provided, and opportunities may be available to pick up more hours and grow into mentor or leadership roles.
Requirements
- Love working with children and bring positive energy.
- Be reliable, safety-minded, and professional, with strong communication skills.
- Be able to work evenings and weekends on a set schedule.
- Be comfortable in the water and active on your feet.
Nice To Haves
- Previous teaching or swim experience; experience is not required because paid training is provided.
