About The Position
HealthFitness, a Trustmark company, is seeking enthusiastic Swim Instructors for its Aquatics Team in Downers Grove, Illinois. The role provides fun, safe, and confidence-building swim instruction to children through private and small-group lessons, with personalized programs designed to help each young swimmer thrive. Instructors are responsible for effective and safe swim instruction for adults and children in private or small-group lessons, tailoring programs to participants’ interests, abilities, and goals. The part-time schedule is Sundays from 1:45 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Requirements
- Must be at least 17 years old.
- Adult and Child CPR/AED/First Aid certification from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety & Health Institute is required within 30 days.
- Must have a strong swim background.
- Proficiency in all swim strokes.
Responsibilities
- Provide effective and safe swim instruction to adults and children participating in private or small-group lessons.
- Design individualized programs to meet participants’ interests, abilities, and goals.
