Swim Instructor (part-time)
About The Position
HealthFitness, a Trustmark company, is seeking a part-time Swim Instructor to join the Aquatics Team at a community client site in West Hartford, Connecticut. The role involves providing effective and safe swim instruction to adults and children in private or small-group lessons, and designing individualized programs based on each participant’s interests, abilities, and goals. The position is 10–15 hours per week and offers compensation of $16–$17.75 per hour. Final pay depends on factors including location, qualifications, experience, and skill set. Applicants must meet hiring requirements, including a pre-employment drug test.
Requirements
- Must be at least 17 years old.
- Must hold Adult & Child CPR/AED/First Aid certification from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety & Health Institute before the start date.
- Must have a strong swim background.
- Must be proficient in all swim strokes.
- Must meet hiring requirements, including a pre-employment drug test.
