About The Position

The Surveillance Officer maintains close surveillance of casino table activities from the catwalk or monitoring system. The role uses technical equipment to identify, record, and document illegal or unusual activity in table games, slots, casino cashier windows, and cage areas. The officer reports such activity to management and regulatory agencies and handles highly sensitive information with extreme confidentiality. The position also requires providing Family Style Service and may include other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma preferred; advanced education in law enforcement or criminal justice preferred.
• Must successfully complete 80 hours of on-the-job surveillance training.
• Must have keen observation and reporting skills.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must perform the customer service standards of the department.
• Knowledge of the Casino Control Act as it relates to gaming operations, as well as company and internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• CER License required.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in security or surveillance preferred.
• High school diploma preferred; advanced education in law enforcement or criminal justice preferred.
