About The Position

The Security Officer provides security and safety to the hotel/casino, its employees, and guests. The role also provides Family Style Service at all times and may include other duties as assigned. The position pays $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Keen observation and reporting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to obtain CPR certification.
• Meet the customer service standards of the department.
• Knowledge of the Casino Control Act and company and internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• CER license required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous law enforcement or security experience.
• Valid New Jersey driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with assistance and directions.
• Guard transfers of monies and chips on the casino floor, as well as the physical transportation of chip fills and credits.
• Operate the card and dice destruction room.
• Monitor property and casino entrances, check for underage gamblers, and coordinate suspicious activities with security management.
• Provide security and safety to the hotel/casino, employees, and guests.
• Provide Family Style Service at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
