About The Position

This is a part-time Dealer Trainee position at Tropicana Atlantic City. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service by learning and performing core casino games in a friendly and helpful manner. The trainee will support and maintain property courtesy guidelines, present a polished and professional image, and encourage others to do the same. The starting rate for this position is $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be able to perform basic math quickly.
• Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
• Must present a well-groomed appearance.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills.
• Must enjoy entertaining and communicating with the public.
• Must be able to pass a math test and customer service focused panel before being accepted to this training program.
• Must be able to work varied shifts during a 24-hour period, weekends and holidays are required as needed.
• Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling employee conflicts or stressful customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Learn and demonstrate an effective working knowledge of dealing policies and gaming procedures.
• Learn to deal games in accordance with internal controls, New Jersey Division of Gaming regulations, and company policy.
• Be able to learn applicable departmental dealer efficiency metrics.
• Always present oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourage others to do the same.
• Be responsible for learning the protection and control of the game.
• Learn how to exchange currency for gaming chips and pay or collect bets according to house rules in an accurate manner.
