About The Position

Supports patient care processes across Surgical Services. Provides environmental services to assist with procedure room turnover and routine cleaning of Surgical Services in restricted and semi-restricted areas. Transports patients and/or equipment to, from, and within Surgical Services. Assists with patient care needs as delegated by licensed staff, including lifting, positioning, and assisting with preps. Assists with case preparation processes and instrumentation, supply handling, and restocking as directed. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Nursing student status (various).
• Applicable experience: less than 1 year.
