About The Position

Newbridge Spine & Pain Center is seeking a Medical Assistant/Nursing Assistant/Surgical Tech to work at its Frederick, Maryland office. The position involves supporting patients and providers in a clinical and procedure-room setting, including escorting patients, taking vital signs, updating medical histories in the EMR, assisting with sterile setup, and operating a C-ARM. Duties also include collecting urine and completing records. The role offers an hourly rate of $18–$22, depending on qualifications and experience, and includes medical, dental, vision, HSA options, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and paid company holidays. No evenings or weekends are required.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of clinical office or surgery center experience.
• EMR experience is required.
• Excellent patient communication skills.
• BLS certification is required.
• Be a team player with a positive attitude, willingness to take initiative, and ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.

Nice To Haves

• Athena EMR experience is preferred.
• Medical Assistant certification is strongly preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of Ambulatory Surgery Center protocols is preferred but not required.
• Procedure room experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities
