About The Position
Newbridge Spine & Pain Center is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant/Nursing Assistant/Surgical Tech for its Frederick, Maryland office. The role supports patients and providers in a clinical office and procedure-room setting. Duties include escorting patients to rooms, checking vital signs, updating medical histories in the EMR, collecting urine, completing records, and assisting providers in the procedure room, including sterile setup and operating a C-arm.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of clinical office or surgery center experience.
- EMR experience is required.
- Excellent patient communication skills.
- BLS certification is required.
- Ability to work as a team player with a positive attitude, take initiative, and work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
Nice To Haves
- Athena EMR experience is preferred.
- Medical Assistant certification is strongly preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of Ambulatory Surgery Center protocols is preferred but not required.
- Procedure-room experience is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
