About The Position
The Nursing Assistant performs direct and indirect patient care tasks delegated by a Registered Nurse and works under the RN’s direction and supervision. The primary responsibility is to provide basic patient care, including bathing and hygiene, elimination and toileting, nutrition, feeding and hydration, and ambulation and positioning. The Nursing Assistant supports patient safety and satisfaction by conducting regular rounds on the nursing unit and communicating effectively with all team members.
Requirements
- Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
Responsibilities
