Supply Replenisher Associate II
About The Position
This hospital-based position at Raritan Bay in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, supports the implementation of lean supply management principles across the Business Unit Laboratory network. The role manages the movement and replenishment of materials and supplies to laboratory points of use, performs cycle counts and daily replenishment routines, and works with laboratory staff and supply analysts to ensure materials are available. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The pay range is $23.00 to $25.00 per hour. Offers depend on factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, certifications, market conditions, and organizational factors. Successful candidates may be eligible for annual performance bonus compensation.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, or supply chain.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact well with all levels of staff.
- Efficient planning and organizing skills.
- Good math skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of inventory control systems is desired.
- Proficiency in software such as Excel, Word, and Visio is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Execute standard business processes for managing material flow for all facility types in the assigned region, including laboratories and other off-site locations.
- Participate in internal work teams to continuously improve supply replenishment processes, focusing on reducing overall cost and cycle time.
- Conduct regular physical inventory and cycle counts to ensure on-hand inventory accuracy.
- Maintain visual management tools, such as Kanban, and mistake-proofing initiatives, such as labels with photos.
- Perform daily replenishment routines and interact with laboratory staff and supply analysts to ensure material availability.
