About The Position

This position supports the implementation of lean supply management principles across the laboratory network. It manages the movement and replenishment of materials and supplies to points of use in the laboratory, performing cycle counts and daily replenishment routines while coordinating with laboratory staff and supply analysts to maintain material availability.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing, warehousing, inventory, or supply chain.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact well with staff at all levels.
• Efficient planning and organizing skills.
• Good math skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of inventory control systems.
• Proficiency with software such as Excel, Word, and Visio.

Responsibilities

• Execute standard business processes for managing material flow across assigned-region facilities, including laboratories, RRL, PSC, and IOP.
• Participate in internal work teams to improve supply replenishment processes, focusing on reducing overall cost and cycle time.
• Conduct regular physical inventory and cycle counts to ensure on-hand inventory accuracy.
• Maintain visual management tools, such as Kanban, and mistake-proofing initiatives, such as labels with photos.
