About The Position

This position supports the implementation of lean supply management principles within the business unit laboratory network. The role manages the movement and replenishment of materials and supplies to laboratory points of use, performs cycle counts, and completes daily replenishment routines. It interacts with laboratory staff and supply analysts to help ensure material availability.

Requirements

1–2 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, or supply chain.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact well with all levels of staff.
Efficient planning and organizing skills.
Good math skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of inventory control systems is desired.
Proficiency with software such as Excel, Word, and Visio is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Execute standard business processes for managing material flow across assigned regional facility types, including laboratories, RRL, PSC, and IOP.
Participate in internal work teams focused on continuous improvement of supply replenishment processes, overall cost reduction, and cycle time reduction.
Conduct regular physical inventory and cycle counts to ensure on-hand inventory accuracy.
Maintain visual management tools, such as Kanban, and mistake-proofing initiatives, such as labels with photos.
