About The Position

This position supports implementation of lean supply management principles within the business unit laboratory network. It manages movement and replenishment of materials and supplies to laboratory points of use, performs cycle counts and daily replenishment routines, and works with laboratory staff and supply analysts to help ensure materials are available. The role supports material-flow processes across assigned regional facilities, including laboratories, RRL, PSC, and IOP locations, and contributes to continuous improvement of replenishment processes.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, or supply chain.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact well with all levels of staff.
• Efficient planning and organizing skills.
• Good math skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of inventory control systems.
• Proficiency in software such as Excel, Word, and Visio.

Responsibilities

• Execute standard business processes for managing material flow across facility types in the assigned region, including Laboratories, RRL, PSC, and IOP.
• Participate in internal work teams to improve supply replenishment processes, focusing on reducing overall cost and cycle time.
• Conduct regular physical inventory and cycle counts to ensure the accuracy of on-hand inventories.
• Maintain visual management tools such as Kanban and mistake-proofing initiatives such as labels with photos.
• Perform daily replenishment routines and coordinate with laboratory staff and supply analysts to support material availability.
