About The Position

This position supports the implementation of lean supply management principles within the business unit laboratory network. The role handles the movement and replenishment of materials and supplies to laboratory points of use, performs cycle counts and daily replenishment routines, and interacts with laboratory staff and supply analysts to help ensure materials are available. The position is based in Miramar, Florida, and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, or supply chain work.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact well with staff at all levels.
• Efficient planning and organizing skills.
• Good math skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of inventory control systems.
• Proficiency in software such as Excel, Word, and Visio.

Responsibilities

• Execute standard business processes for managing material flow across facility types in the assigned region, including laboratories, RRL, PSC, and IOP.
• Participate in internal work teams focused on continuously improving supply replenishment processes, reducing overall cost and cycle time.
• Conduct regular physical inventory and cycle counts to ensure on-hand inventory accuracy.
• Maintain visual management tools such as Kanban and mistake-proofing initiatives such as labels with photos.
• Perform daily replenishment routines and interact with laboratory staff and supply analysts to help ensure material availability.
