About The Position

The Supply Chain Operations Excellence Manager manages a team that develops and executes applications, programming, analytics, reporting, and master data maintenance for the Transportation team. The manager coaches the transport team on project execution to drive execution, focus, and results, and guides team members on lean principles, TPM methodologies, and Six Sigma methodology. The role leads the annual planning and execution of the Operations Excellence summer internship program, ensures continuous improvement initiatives are understood and implemented throughout each plant, assesses opportunities for process change, and provides project management for future plans. Other duties may be assigned.

The role may be based in Downey, California; Niles, Illinois; or New Hudson, Michigan. The stated salary range of $131,532–$164,415 applies to candidates based in California, with an annual target bonus also noted.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 8 or more years of related experience, plus 4 or more years of leadership experience; alternatively, a high school diploma or GED and 11 or more years of specific experience, plus 6 or more years of leadership experience.
