About The Position
AO Globe Life is hiring a fully remote Supplemental Benefits Specialist to help individuals and families explore and enroll in personalized supplemental benefit options. The role is suited to people who value service, enjoy working with clients, and are comfortable communicating in virtual meetings. Inbound client interest is provided, so the role does not require cold outreach. Training, mentorship, and licensing guidance are available. This is an independent contractor opportunity with American Income Life / Globe Life. Compensation is commission-based and performance-driven, not hourly or salaried. Candidates must complete applicable pre-licensing coursework, examinations, and state requirements at their own expense, and obtain the appropriate state Life & Health Insurance License before conducting licensed insurance activities. Licensing requirements, fees, compensation, and contractor terms may vary by state.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be comfortable in virtual meetings and using digital tools.
- Have a self-starter mindset and strong organizational skills.
- Be motivated to help people and support a purpose-driven mission.
- Provide a computer or laptop, webcam, reliable high-speed internet, and a professional remote workspace.
- Obtain the appropriate state Life & Health Insurance License before conducting licensed insurance activities.
- Complete applicable pre-licensing coursework, examinations, and state licensing requirements at the candidate's expense.
- Be self-motivated, coachable, comfortable working independently, and interested in performance-based work.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service or consultative experience is preferred but not required.
- Recent or soon-to-be graduates in business, marketing, or communications may be a good fit.
Responsibilities
- Participate in continued mentorship and team development.
- Lead virtual Zoom consultations with clients.

- Guide clients through enrollment clearly and professionally.
- Cultivate long-term client relationships.
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely follow-ups.
- Complete required training and participate in virtual meetings.
