The Slot Supervisor is responsible for assisting Slot Department management in all phases of Slot Operations. This role involves supervising the operation of slot machines and the performance of slot floor staff during assigned shifts, ensuring compliance with Slot Department Policy & Procedures and providing excellent guest service to Slot players within the assigned area. The supervisor will organize the assigned shift and area, including daily employee assignments, break schedules, and staffing levels, ensuring they are appropriate to business needs. A key aspect of the role is ensuring maximum guest service and satisfaction through organization and supervision according to policies, procedures, and gaming regulations. The supervisor will also perform coaching and personnel counseling, assist in training and evaluating subordinate employees, and ensure staff respond effectively to guest service requests and machine issues. Verifying slot payouts, notifying maintenance of repairs, and striving to meet revenue goals are also essential duties. The role requires promoting positive guest service, acting as an ambassador for the property, and collaborating with other departments to resolve guest inquiries. Maintaining positive employee relations, keeping the Slot Shift Manager informed of business information and staff issues, and observing players and machines for honest play to safeguard against theft and ensure the integrity of casino property are critical. The supervisor will also promote departmental and property-wide promotions and maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment. Communication and cooperation with other shifts and departments are expected, along with performing other job-related duties as assigned.
