About The Position

Carpenter Co. is seeking a 1st Shift Pouring Supervisor to oversee operations on its prime pouring line. The position provides front-line leadership to hourly employees and serves as the primary liaison among plant operations, quality control, scheduling, and management. The supervisor helps optimize raw material usage, maximize machinery uptime, coordinate personnel, and maintain product quality. The role is performed on an active production floor with extreme temperature variations. The supervisor leads and motivates the production team, supports productivity and output standards, enforces company policies and safety procedures, and helps maintain a clean, orderly work area. The role requires a resilient, accountable leader who can analyze information, find solutions quickly, and commit to extra hours when needed.

Requirements

Associate's degree in business administration, manufacturing engineering technology, or a similar field, or equivalent managerial work experience in manufacturing.
Two to four years of related manufacturing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Forklift certification.
Ability to perform basic calculations.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals, and procedure guides.
Foundational computer skills.
Accountability, ability to follow instructions, and willingness to commit to extra hours when needed.

Responsibilities
