About The Position

Vizient’s Strategy Intelligence Team helps health system leaders understand where health care is headed, what those developments mean for their organizations, and what actions to take. The team combines perspectives from subject matter experts with analytics to inform client decisions on topics including finance and payment, ambulatory strategy, digital health and AI, and clinical service lines such as cardiovascular care, cancer, neurosciences, orthopedics, and pediatrics. The graduate intern will support a defined service-line strategy project and help translate healthcare research and data into practical, actionable insights. Work may contribute to client-ready slide decks, white papers, case studies, and strategic frameworks. The intern will research and synthesize industry and clinical trends, analyze data, and contribute to materials for clients and members, with opportunities to learn about health system leaders’ challenges and engage with colleagues across Vizient. This is a 10-week, full-time, paid internship running from June 1, 2027, through August 6, 2027. Interns participate in formal training, mentoring, on-the-job learning, community service projects, and opportunities to interact with senior leaders. Each intern is assigned a supervisor who provides mentorship and development and monitors work experiences. The role requires participation in the program schedule, including an in-person Chicago orientation and other required activities. The work environment is hybrid. Pay is $25 per hour.
