CVS Health’s Retail Operations Strategy Corporate Internship is a 10.5-week, full-time graduate internship running from May 24, 2027, through August 4, 2027. The position is hybrid, with three days generally spent at the Woonsocket, Rhode Island office (Tuesday through Thursday) and two days working remotely from home, an office, or another location of the intern’s choice. Interns work on projects that contribute to business success and take part in community service, professional development workshops, mentorship and networking opportunities, and interactions with senior leaders. The internship pays $55 per hour for 40 hours per week, includes two days of paid leave, and observes July 4 as a company holiday. Interns may have an increased likelihood of receiving an offer for a future CVS Health role. Retail Operations acts as an internal consulting team, bringing strategy to life across the front store, pharmacy, and customer experience. The team works with store colleagues and internal and external partners to introduce systems and services, and uses data and human-centered research to improve workflows and make care more accessible, easier to use, and more patient focused. Past intern projects have included testing free home delivery for patients with out-of-stock medications, researching the business impact of COVID-19, analyzing prescriber data, prototyping a virtual pharmacy verification imaging system, and identifying colleague pain points in existing processes. Work visa sponsorship is not available. This includes participation in CPT, OPT, and F-1 visa programs. CVS Health accepts applications on an ongoing basis and does not set an application deadline for this job.
